diagnoses

When I turned six and I was still in kindergarden my parents knew there was something wrong. I would always be older than all my classmates. Instead of reading and writing all I wanted to do was take naps, play and daydream I started to have trouble making and keeping friends.I would sit alone at lunch and recess. I didn't understand non verbal communication. I didn't know friendly from mean. So I had to stay an extra year. In first grade my parents enrolled me in a public school because they knew I was different and could get more help with learning such as tutoring. My parents also had me see a therapist once a week who diagnosed me Asperger's syndrome.
